Responsibility

Do you feel that you are responsible for another human being?

You are not.

It’s your story.

You might have compassion for someone, but to be responsible you are not.

Why?

Because every human, except possibly one on life support, is in the final analysis responsible for his own actions.

We live and die according to our choices.

As a parent you might guide, control, discipline, no matter your approach, your child is actually the only one responsible for it's own actions, after the age of seven that is when the soul is fully in the child.

Even old infirm people who cannot be responsible for their actions are responsible for their lives.
So if your story is that you cannot do this that or the other because you are responsible for someone then time to examine your story.

Is your story just a way to avoid leading the life you could?

Is it a way to avoid your own life?

You are in the final analysis only responsible for yourself.

How you act or relate to others is your choice, not that you are responsible for their actions.

Compassion is fine, responsibility not so.
