There are some people who carry grudges
Remember every slight

Yes this is a choice

Using all that life energy just waiting for the chance to have revenge
Often the alledged incident was not as you remember it
So do not hold grudges
Do not look for revenge
Nature will take care of that
Nature is far more accurate
Leave revenge to nature
